I am looking for a swim diaper that will keep in the poop of a EBF baby. I want to put it under her bathing suit. We CD and I do have so GroBaby shells and was thinking they might work with the lining and no PUL against the baby. However, this isn't really something I want to "test out" in the community pool. We could have problems on our hands! Any suggestions?
I was thinking this one. https://www.amazon.com/iplay-Swim-Diaper-White-Medium/dp/B00180G8U2/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=baby-products&qid=1278793089&sr=8-1
TIA
Re: Swim Diaper for EBF baby
Having just taken a toddler to the beach, unless you are going to have the baby in the pool a lot, your best bet is to just have her wear a regular diaper unless she's in the water. Swim diapers do not hold pee, so she will be peeing EVERYWHERE. The poo will stay in the diaper, but the pee will not.
I knew this, and still allowed DH to talk me in to changing DD into her swimsuit (iPlay style) at the car when we went to the beach. We were still in the parking lot when I realized I was covered in pee...
That said, I think the iPlay is a safe bet as far as keeping your poo contained. Just make sure it's tight around the legs and waist.
ETA: We have this swim diaper and 2 tankinis like this
