Where to go?

This might seem a little off topic but DH and I want to get away before TTC#2 baby. We have a 7 month old DS and fortunately my mom is willing to watch him for 3-4 days but I am not sure where to go. We need to decide soon. We are debating between Montreal, Canada, Hudson Valley, NY and Newport,RI.We do not want to do a B&B b/c we want the amenities. We do not want to spend more than $1,000-$1,200 b/c we just bought a second car and are on a budget. We are looking to go in the middle of August. Any thoughts on the places I suggested?

    Hudson Valley, NY sounds really nice or Newport, RI. Hudson Valley might be better because of distance. That way, just in case, you can get home right away, if anything. Also, the foliage and area just seems so relaxing. Anywhere upstate NY is relaxing to me. I've never been to Newport, but I have heard great things about it and if you're a beach person, then it is a better choice.
