If you had bothered to read, I was questioning your doctor's inability to distinguish if there were two and for calling it an echo (echos are an audible thing. At this point there is only a visual heartbeat. Visual things cannot have an echo as they are not audible. Why is that so hard to understand?). Said nothing about you. Your doctor is the one being questioned for being an idiot, not you. All you have to go off of is what you were told.

You are the one freaking out becuase what the doctor told you doesn't add up and someone pointed it out to you.

Kind of a stupid thing to freak out over and rally the troops to your defense, when you weren't even the one in question, isn't it?

It's not Amy's fault if her Dr. told her the wrong thing...she was just relaying info that her doctor told her...so for chewing her out in the first place was dumb. Hmmmm. I'm no genius, but I did get my certification for Medical Assisting. You do know that a transducer (ultrasound wand) emits sound and detects the returning echoes when it is placed on or over your body. When the sound from the wand detects a border between two tissues, the sound conducts differently, some of the sound waves bounce back to the transducer, creating an echo.

So ya the Dr is not a dubma$$ for saying they saw an echo.
