Erotic dreams, single mom, and orgasms while asleep?????

Hello

I decided to go on with the pregnancy alone, because of strong issues with my ex husband.

We used to have a pretty busy sex life, we had sex almost 6 times a week, and once I got pregnant we stopped, since I started spotting I was really scared, we split and its been over 2 months since then, I have been having this very obscene and orgsmic dreams, I dont know if its the lack of sex or just the libido because of hormones, but sometimes, I wake up, with my stomach really hard, and a pulsating sensation inside my vagina, most of the times i have had an orgasm in my dream, but I get so worried that I rush over to the bathroom to check if there is any spotting, and there isnt. (thank God)

Does anyone else experience this? even if they are married? Is this harmful for the baby? I am so ashamed to ask my doctor since this is kind of intimate. And because in my last check up everything is just fine.

Vivid, erotic dreams are very normal during pregnancy. So are sleepgasms. Your uterus contracts when you have an orgasm, which is why you wake up with a hard belly. All normal.

Your OB spends a decent amount of time "all up in" folks' girly parts...I think you can get over your embarrassment and ask a question regarding the safety of your baby/your actions...it's sure to be something the MD has heard before - and it is not as if they will laugh in your face...if you are truly concerned don't ask a bunch of people you don't know on the web expecting much more then Hmm

According to What to Expect... orgasms feel like a gentle rocking motion to the baby and may even lull baby to sleep. DH was worried cause we had a lotta fun the other night and he thought maybe LO may have been having trouble sleeping after.
