I'm going out with some new moms tonight!

She was the one who came to pick up our treadmill (freecycle) last night and she noticed I had small kids (as does she) so she invited me to a mom's playgroup. I found her on facebook (per her suggestion) and she seemed very normal, has a normal blog, and knows someone I know so I went with it and there's a mom's night out thing tonight that I'm going to! I'm bringing Declan since I have no milk pumped but YAY for new friends. Hopefully this is a good group!

That's awesome - have fun! And don't feel bad about bringing Declan. At the MNO I go to it's totally normal for moms to bring young nurslings and then they get passed around so mom gets to relax and eat.

aw that's great - i wish i had more of a 'meet people' personality.. i prob would have wound up not following up or not going or something because that's how i am with people i don't know.. :-(
