I have two friends that all they do is trash talk their ex, and what terrible fathers they are. It's really klassy. Don't air out your dirty laundry in a public forum, it just makes you look like a jerk. But what I hate most is all of the lame game updates. I want to firebomb the people that created Farmville and Mafia Wars.

I HATE THE EMO, DEPRESSED "___is sad" expecting everyone to ask why.I hate songs as statuses. Did you really "woke up in the morning feeling like P. Diddy"?I hate when people air their relationship dirty laundry as statuses (per DHs brother's ex) "I deserve so much more than he gives me"And the #1 big winner:I hated when my cousin updated the world on her vag status during delivery "3cm! 50% effaced!." It made me want to vomit.

Hint: There's a hide feature you can use to block most of that crap. I'm a huge fan of it. I hide all of that application nonsense. And I'll go ahead and hide people entirely if they are annoying enough.

I voted the constant complaining, because the negativity drives me bonkers, but a close second is vague-booking. Just come out with it! Don't make people have to ask. I think that is the ultimate in AW. A combination of the 2 is the worst! i.e. "I don't think I can go on. FML!" comment: "OMG, What happened?" "oh, I stubbed my toe." Confused

Embarrassed I am guilty of comments like these, but sometimes fb just doesn't give enough room for a whole vent about, for example, how frustrating my job search is and how desprately I wish I could just stop looking for a job and stay home with my son and not have to worry about there not being enough $$...When I say these kinds of things though, I find that those who actually know me, know what I am referring to, so is it still vaguebooking?

I am guilty of comments like these, but sometimes fb just doesn't give enough room for a whole vent about, for example, how frustrating my job search is and how desprately I wish I could just stop looking for a job and stay home with my son and not have to worry about there not being enough $$...When I say these kinds of things though, I find that those who actually know me, know what I am referring to, so is it still vaguebooking?

I think its different if people know what you are talking about. Its when people are obviously looking for others to ask that its annoying.

All of these! And I am also incredibly annoyed by the posts in which my friends brag about partying. The occasional "had a blast getting drunk with old friends" is fine, but I have friends who get drunk and go clubbing almost every night and that's all they freaking talk about in their status updates. Oh, and I can't wait for the stupid World Cup to be over so I can stop getting a minute-by-minute update on the game via facebook status updates. The next person who posts "Gooooooooaaaaaaaalll!!!!" as their status gets an imaginary throat punch!

Thanks for the tip, but I basically only access Facebook from my iPhone and I don't think you can set those filters on the app. If anyone knows how you would be my hero...

Thanks for the tip, but I basically only access Facebook from my iPhone and I don't think you can set those filters on the app. If anyone knows how you would be my hero...

I'm pretty sure once you block it from a computer, it stops sending them to your phone, too. The only things I get on my iPhone facebook app are the Family Feud things, and that's the one I still haven't blocked via my computer.

I have a FB friend (who I haven't seen IRL in over 10 years) who does this with her relationship. It makes my had spin. One minute she'll have a paragraph long rant abot how horrible her SO is, and then 2 hours later it will be how much in love she is.

The BEST was one day was a rant about how he will never get near her kids again (she has a bunch) and the NEXT DAY she changed her status to married. They went to the court house. WTF?

This, I also get super annoyed with one friend's overshares about her pregnancy. especially because they started when she was in 1st tri, and she still hasn't had her baby, she's overdue now, so I've seen these updates/complaints for what seems like forever now!
