Swiss chard. Something ate all of the romaine while we were out of town. Carrots & onions are looking good, but not quite ready. Everything else is still growing!
We've been eating cucumbers, onions, garlic, red potatoes and tomatoes this week. The only thing I've canned is pickles both sweet and dill. I'm a canning newb. Sorry now pics.

We've been eating strawberries, blackberries, lettuce, cucumbers, radishes & red potatoes. I also picked 2 cherry tomatoes and ate them.
Today I picked 2 jalapenos, a bunch more cucumbers, more pea pods (we now have a quart unshelled!), some berries, and a ZUCHINI!!!!
We had a pretty good sized bellpepper that was starting to turn orange (orange pepper plant), and something stole it There are tiny little bellpeppers on all 4 plants currently.
If the weather would dump some rain, and cool a hair, I think a bunch of tomatoes would turn red fast. I have a couple teensy yellow squash, and my short & fat carrots will be ready in about a week. The okra is getting taller, but no buds yet. My green beans are covered in blooms, so hopefully I'll have a bunch of beans to pick in a week or so. The potato plants are starting to die on top, and I'll be digging a bunch over the next couple weeks and then planting a 2nd crop. The watermelon, pumpkin, and eggplant are getting fluffy. The corn hits me about midthigh, right inline with the local farmers' crops.
The radishes are done, and I'm thinking about another radish crop going in.
I my gardens!

Only tomatoes... Hopefully we'll have some peppers soon. I thought I had planted enough that we won't have to buy veggies all summer, but it's not going well..
I should add, we've had our first broccoli pickings, and now are growing big, fat heads. They look incredible, and measure between 3 and 6 inches accross, depending on the plant!

So far we had spinach that is already eaten and dead. Cherry and early girl tomatoes are starting to get a few each day. A couple of zucchinni and sunburst squash. the green beans (the lonely 2 that popped up out of 25 plants) have a few flowers. Our bell pepper has teeny peppers that are rotting before ripening.
Just the berries, so far - blueberries, blackberries & raspberries. I guess maybe you can count the wild strawberries, too, but that's more the "yard" and not the "garden". lol
We have zucchini, a couple squash and cucumbers that are almost ready, a few peppers eaten.Green beans need to be picked! Peas are done for. Potatoes almost ready. Carrots, beets, and tomatoes are looking good, but not ready.
Can someone tell me about onions and garlic? Are the flowers on the top supposed to be snapped off? When are they ready to pull?
I've never canned anything, but would love to learn how!
Only blueberries so far, but ds is the only one that has gotten to eat them so far.... other than the damn birds. Our veggie plot is looking pretty productive--- of weeds! Due to due date/delivery date, we didn't get to plant a garden this year. Made me very sad. My bil wants to share a garden this year since they just moved back to the area (1hr away) and can't have a garden where they're living. I thought it was too late but I guess they think it can work. We'll see if they come out soon to plant. I hope they do!

Tomatoes (canned), green beans (canned), cukes (into pickles), corn, squash (zephyr, yellow, zucchini, spaghetti), pumpkins, watermelon, and loofah gourds.
I have harvested / eaten off of everything but the pumpkins, watermelon and gourds.

LOL.
So far only blueberries for us. They're sweet with just a hint of tart
greens, hungarian hot peppers, beans, peas, carrots

Spinach... that is all.
I have giant zucchini plants... but no zucchini yet. The carrots will be great, but still have a ways to go! Verdict still out on the tomatoes.
