sometimes I just don't get ebay

I bought this for $5 last october.    Someone wants $18 almost a year later?

I guess if someone buys it, then great for them.    No way would I pay "new" prices for something not "new" from the current season.

    I think a lot of eBay is just wishful thinking by the sellers.

    I was looking at real estate on eBay today.  Wow.  Incredible what some people want for things.

    This. People don't (typically) go on ebay looking to pay lots of money for something.
