Some of the screen names are pretty obvious...I was just curious, is there a method to your madness? Is there meaning behind it? I know when I first signed up I didnt realize mine would be my new alias, I thought I was just going to be getting emails and what not...Looking back THIS would not have been the name I picked had I of known better... Would you change yours if you could?
Re: What's in a name...or in this case a screen name...
That's funny... I never thought of it as becoming an alias either, but I guess it does!
I am ok w/ mine... I think haha
Mine is the punch line to a joke I knew in high school. Sadly, I've long since forgotten the joke, so it's really not amusing anymore.
I've used this as a screenname for various things (remember the golden days of ICQ?) for probably 15 years now (good LORD I'm getting old).
March 4th is my bday also!!
How weird! Same City & Same Birthday!!
HA - I am just a moron and used the same screen name I have for everything else - my name. I honestly wasn't paying attention...google me and you can see all the stuff I didn't get for my wedding/reception and if anyone wants they can go ahead and get stuff for our baby off our registery too...good times.... (joke)
And yeah, I suppose I would change it.
Because I like movies.
No, I wouldn't change it. I use this one everywhere. If you see this screenname on another message board, 99.99% of the time it's me.
Unable to even.

You don't understand the appeal of Benedict Cumberbatch / think he's fug / don't know who he is? WATCH SHERLOCK. Until you do, your negative opinion of him will not be taken seriously.
LiLnikkiMe: its actually an old e-mail screen name of mine
i'm short 5'1, so that where the LiL comes from and my name is Nicole. i have no idea where the Me came from though, lol, it just kind of went with the name.
I remember ICQ! I loved it! lol
My screen name is my nickname and my husbands call number. He's a Lt. with the sheriff's office here.

I'm a Heather too, I think the popularity of that name in the late 70's and early 80's shows up more on here than anywhere else in my life.
First initial, first part of last name and there are 88 keys on a piano so I use that # when I need one.
DH was called Reddog when he was in the Navy and my coworkers called me KRedd when I worked at Coast Guard so I guess nicknames are just a part of the military (even though I was a civilian) and I kept mine. Before we knew LO was a girl I was calling her Little Redd

That - I knew nothing about message boards when I signed up for the Knot so I used my first name and my DH's first name since it was our wedding I was on the Knot for....pretty lame and if I could change it, I totally would. Can you even do that??
Great post!! Answers a lot of questions I've had!
These are really interesting!
My usual screen name was taken, so I concocted my current one on the fly. I studied mixed martial arts for a long time=kik, and I'm a doc=doc.
Ha ha ha! Glad I could clear that up.
As for the other question you asked, no, I don't think I'd change it because, sadly, coming up with that screen name took every bit of creativity I have (which isn't a lot to begin with).
Mine is so boring! My name is... Tori. My sn is Torii. Obviously, Tori with one 'i' was taken so I added another. Sometimes I think it would be nice if my name was a little more obscure so that people irl wouldn't have a chance of finding me, but at the same time, I like how short and simple it is.
All of my other screen names and online accounts are "toriikins." I was given that nickname in high school from a really good friend who was living in Peru at the time. I never had a nickname so I jumped all over it. Google toriikins and I'm sure you'll come up with tons of random websites that I belong to.
I chose mine for a reason. It's an homage, if you will.
And no, I wouldn't change it for the world. I especially like that my husband thought the name was so cool, he simply put a "Mr" in front of it on another site we frequent for HIS name.
