  She says 8 days in the fridge. I usually start with BM in the fridge and if it looks like I won't use it within those 8 days I'll then put it in the freezer.

  The hospital told me it is the rule of 3's.  3 hours on the counter, 3 days in the fridge, and 3 months in the freezer.

  My lactation consultant said the Rule of 4's to be conservative.  4 hours on the counter, 4 days in the fridge and 4 months in the freezer, but she did say milk in the fridge is good for one week.  If you don't feel comfortable using it, I would throw it out to save yourself the worry.
