I love singing hush little baby to my one year old...each of my boys have their own "lullaby" that I've sang to them since day one. My 2 year old's is the ants go marching one by one...
My favorite lullaby is Baby Mine from the Dumbo movie! It is so sweet and calming at a very sad part of the movie and it has stuck with me since I was a kid.
I heard it on the Celebrating Adoption website and just think her voice is so beautiful and the song is calming and pretty and celebrating the new life in your world
Proud Momma of our daughter Charlie!
She found her forever home August 2010
Hope to be the proud momma of #2 in July
My favorite lullaby is "Here comes the Sun" by the Beatles. It is not typical lullaby but is special for two reasons. My parents walked down the aisle to it and my Mom used to sing it to me when I was a baby. I know I'll sing it to my little boy when he gets here!
I know this isn't very traditional but I always rocked and sang Simple Man to my boys. They are teenagers now and still love the song. It has allowed us to have and keep a strong bond with one another because they will always want to listen to it. It's not a traditional lullaby that becomes uncool at the tween/teen stage.
I love Amazing Grace as the words really touch me. I love the entire cd of Celine Dion's Miracle, but more specifically I love her song "Brahms' Lullaby"...so soft and sweet.
You are my sunshine is my favorite. My mom always sang that to me as a baby and sings it to my kids now. My 2 year old knows all the words and sings it to her little brother. It makes me MELT!

My favorite is 'Hush Little Baby'. My dad would ALWAYS sing it to me when I was younger, and I always sang it to the little ones I babysat and my little goddaughter to calm them down when they were cranky...I'm looking forward to singing it to baby Stanley - and to listening to my dad sing it to him!
My favorite lullaby is Twinkle Twinkle Little Star because I remember my mom singing it when we were riding in the car at night and looking up at the stars.
It's a beautiful French lullaby that I remember listening to constantly as a baby, up through grade school. It's very soothing, and a great song to help put a baby or child to sleep when you want them to be calmed but not to get caught up on the words.
It was also a wonderful introduction to a foreign language, because as I got older I wanted to know what the song said.
If you don't know it, here is a link to him performing it live.
My favorite as a child was Knick Knack Paddy Whack (spelling?). My mom would always sing it to me and rub my back when I was sick or scared. I secretly always liked it because it was the longest of the songs she'd sing to me so it meant she stayed with me longer.
My favorite lullaby is Hush Little Baby. I like this song becaues it seems so peaceful and comforting. I don't know what song my son loves most cause he is not here yet but soon will be. I have actually been looking for lullabies so that I will be ready to sing them when our son arrives.
I have a wind-up clown that my Grammy gave me when I was little. It plays "It's a Small World" and I've always loved it. I actually didn't know what it played until my husband and I went to Disney World and I heard it. I got the biggest smile on my face & a little teary-eyed, too.
Re: 25 Bumpies will win a beautiful Lullabies by Request CD here

The Lion Sleeps Tonight
My favorites are "You are my sunshine", "When you wish upon a star", and "Puff the magic dragon"
My dad used to see these to me and now I sing them to my LO. Helps calm her down no matter how upset she gets.

All are welcome in my posts
I'm only 7 weeks pregnant, so I haven't really listened to any lullabies...but I would still like a chance to win
I sing Tell Me Why to my DD as I rock her to sleep. (My mom used to sing that to me)
DH sings "Go To Sleep My Baby" from the Little Rascals! lol
Fais Do Do, as performed by Raffi.

Mine's gotta be Somewhere Over the Rainbow too...it's the first and only lullaby that popped into my head!
