  • I have the same schedule as you, being able to feed in the morning then again at 3:30/4pm.  My son nurses at 5am, 8:30am, 4pm and 7pm.  He gets 4 oz of BM in a sippy cup midday along with 2 servings of solids.  I had him getting more BM during the day but he was nursing less so we cut back.  This plan has worked out really great for us so far.

  • Thanks!  makes me feel so much better.  I am lookign at her schedule when I go back to work (she will be 9 months) and there is just no way to fit into two bottles plus 2 solid meals and have her be hungry when I see her at 3:30.  Plus she sleeps about 3 or 4 hours during the day.

  • Oh, I'm jealous of all that day sleep!  My son is a crummy napper.  I agree, I think you would have a tough time trying to squeeze more milk in.  That's great she'll only miss one feeding from you!
  • He takes a 6oz bottle at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm
