Okay, I know that there are a ton of questions about these, but I am about to go out and buy an actual BBT thermometer for this cycle (I have been using a regular digital one).
Does, the basic Walgreen's BBT Thermometer have a background that lights up? Do you recomend it? It got terrible reviews on walgreens.com so I just wanted to make sure before I get it.
Please let me know what you have. The main feature that I want is a background that has a light. I don't have a lamp on my side of the bed, so I either have to reach over DH to turn on the light, or I have to run to the bathroom and look at it before the screen goes blank (no memory feature).
TIA!

Personally, I'd buy one with a memory and forget about the backlight. I would avoid the BD BBT with backlight - there was a thread yesterday about how crappy that one is, for which I can vouch first-hand. I'm switching back to my non-backlit, but with memory BBT when this cycle is over. Honestly, I like the memory feature anyway, so I can doze off when I'm done taking my temp and don't have to get up right away.
ETA: My BD BBT looks different from the one Sarah posted, so that one might be fine...
Really? This is the one I've been using for 10 cycles now, and I love it!

Same here (except different # of cycles) ! I tried the Walgreens one for a cycle and went right back to my BD one. I will never stray from BD again !
Also, my BD has both a backlight AND a memory so you CAN have both.

I got the CVS one and like it so far, but I've only been temping since 2 days
