I live in CFL, too, so it's hard to imagine a Casey Anthony-free newscast. Aren't Casey updates like the traffic report or weather forecast, every hour on the hour? Stick out tongue

This was interesting, I'm glad you asked about this. I know it's constantly huge news around here (at work, I plan my trips to the courthouse based around whether she is in court that day or not, otherwise I have to deal with a madhouse) but I had no idea to what extent it's a national story.

Before I google it, is this the woman who said she didnt know where her toddler was, she thought she was with the babysitter and then she wasnt and omg she's been kidnapped and then they found blood in her car?

It was a vicious crime. The mother is BSC, and so are the grandparents for covering up for her.

I'm in CT, and it's been all over the news since day one, unfortunately.

I think this woman has been tried, convicted, sentenced and put to death in the minds of the American public...and most possibly, internationally.

Last I heard, she was seeking a change of venue. She won't get a fair trial anywhere in this country. If you have a tellie, access to newspapers, internet, whatever - you have heard of the case.

I live in Ontario, Canada and I've heard all about this story. Mind you, it hasn't been in the news for awhile (since they found the body). But they covered it under "Global News" during the original search, the accusations and the discovery of the body.

Yep, I totally know who she is. I'm not sure what BSC stands for, but this piece of crap "mother" should rot in jail for the rest of her life. I'm in the DC area, and the story was all over the news here. Who could put their little girl in the trunk of the car!?!? Horrible!
