This is a little off-topic but I need to know I'm not the only fantasizing about this. With this unbearable heat, I've been dreaming of a nice ice-cold beer maybe a Sam Adams Summer Ale or something light and refreshing. What's your first drink post pregnancy going to be?

Sam Adams Summer Ale will most definitely be my first post pregnancy drink! It's my absolute favorite beer and I've been so jealous every time DH has one when we go out.

I can't wait!!

Haha, after not drinking for 9 months, one beer and I'm going to be tipsy!!

If we go beer...Blue Moon with Orange Wedge...mmmmm, ice cold!

If it's cocktail hour well then a mojito or John Daley (lemonade with sweet tea vodka) sounds refreshing!

Oh and sushi sounds AMAZING!!! Can't wait for some salmon sashimi with ponzu sauce on the side...

Now my mouth is watering!!!

I am a total beer girl, but it has sounded awful to me this whole pregnancy! I have even told hubs that I prefer he drink hard a drinks over beer, he just stinks when he drinks beer! That being said, I have NO CLUE what I'll want to enjoy first!

I've been telling my DH so much lately how it's crazy how much I'm craving alcohol this time!!! Haha... I've had a few drinks here and there, but mostly wine. My first REAL drink after this baby is born is a nice, strong Long Island Ice Tea. Ohhhh it sounds soooo good right now!

Probably some red wine, or possibly some of my friend's homebrewed pumpkin ale he makes every October. I guess it will depend if the pumpkin ale is ready or not by the time I'm ready for a drink.

I'm a fan of wine....have my CA Zin (the real red stuff, not white zin) all picked out! Even though I'll be breast feeding, I've had friends tell me how to have a drink and still bf - have a drink right after feeding. By the next feeding, the alcohol will be out of your system.

I might try a Guinness - I hear it's great for milk supply. I've honestly only ever had a sip of Guinness before and it didn't tickle my fancy.

So...next up will be a Miller Lite, or a glass of red or white wine.

I'm sure only 1 drink will have me tipsy anyway!

Luckily, alcohol hasn't been on my mind at all.

I've been telling my DH and my mom that after this baby is born I want a six pack of linenkuegels (no idea of the real spelling lol). I've been dying for the stuff! I also asked my mom to save the ice wine in the fridge. She says her and I will share it. Other than my beer and a glass of ice wine I've been craving a nice mimosa! I love champagne!

DH works for a beer distributor and he's been saving me sample bottles all summer of things that he thinks I will like. I think that the first thing I really want though is a COLD Miller Lite...That sounds SOOOO good right now.
