Vent: LO is 3 weeks and I am DRAINED

Wow, LO is 3 weeks tomorrow and I am completely exhausted. My whole body aches, it almost feels like I ran at the gym as my legs ache and yet I have not been anywhere near the gym in months. Is this normal? My head is starting to ache too and I fear if I am getting sick, I will give it to him. Ughhh

ok, vent over. I hope it gets better as DH works every day as he was only able to get time off when we were in the hospital.

The same thing happened to me! And most days I still wake up with sore knees and back. I had less physical issues while I was PG!

Yep that's about the point that I hit rock bottom. It starts getting better soon just rest as much as possible.

My baby will be 3 weeks old tomorrow too! And believe me...I am physically and emotionally drained as well. I keep hearing that it will get better...I'm patiently waiting

. The important thing is to sleep when baby sleeps and to enlist in all of the help you can get from family members. I am typically a very independent person but after the first week and a half of no sleep and feeling like I was going crazy...we've set up some time for my husband's mom to take her twice a week. We shall see how that works out haha. My husband goes back to work tomorrow and I feel like I'm going to go crazy by myself all day. Maybe this will be a good bonding experience for me and little bun.
