Pregnant after a Loss

I made those frozen chocolate dipped banana bites

And they are amazing!  They were a HUGE hit at our party on the 4th and DH wants me to make another batch to have around the house.  Yum!!!

    I agree!!!
  • Well - I copied from Addicted, who copied from Williams Sonoma.  Basically, you melt a bunch of chocolate (I did this using a double boiler and just used Hersheys - next time will try dark chocolate).  Then you dip sliced up bananas in the chocolate and place on a tray (I used a tray with parchment paper) and sprinkle with chopped nuts (I used walnuts) and freeze overnight.

It's really easy!  The only thing is that I made a huge batch (like 7 bananas) so it took a lot of time because each piece has to be dipped separately.  It was totally worth it though.

Also, I suggest taking them out of the freezer about 10 minutes before you eat them so they are not totally rock hard.

  • Bananas and I are not getting along at the moment. But I bet if they were dipped in chocolate we'd do just fine. Smile

I'm 99.98% sure I'll be making these tonight.  Coincidentally, I have all the ingredients waiting for me at home!!!
