What is it like?...

what is your LO's teething experience like?

DD is getting a couple of molars all at the same time and it is taking a lot out of her...

we've dealt with pain (feels like motrin before bed is part of our regular routine), chewing (she's been getting her NUK more and more to chew on - otherwise I just like to give it to her for sleeping), ear tugging (deferred pain), red butts (and lots of long baths to soothe them), diarrhea (so sour), nausea, vomiting (especially in the car for some reason), fussiness (mostly just around bedtime and when she poops or pukes), and not STTN...

I am not complaining on my behalf... I guess I just want to hear that all of this is normal... especially vomiting... haven't seen/heard about that before and worried it could be something more, but also know that she gets all worked up and coughs and cries and then pukes.

Just glad that she is sleeping like a little angel right now... poor baby with all she has to deal with... :(

  • Aww, poor kiddo Sad

My LO's teething experience was pretty similar. Especially for her first two teeth and then for her first molars.

It was probably about a good 2 weeks until she was back to her happy self. I just tried to keep her pain free and hydrated-that's what the pedi said was best to do. HTH and good luck!

That is a LOT going on.  I would visit the pedi just to make sure there isn't something stomach related going on.  that is just too much for my peace of mind.

My experience with teething has been "Hey look, there is a tooth coming in" two days in a row and on the third day it was "OMG, there are four top teeth poking through!"  No clue it was happening, he was fine, the current six all in within a week.

  • Wow.  My DD chewed on things a little more for a few days each round - none of this business you describe.  Sounds rough?  You really think that is all from teething?  IDK
