Things one should not do while pregnant...

include "watch birth photograph slide shows while home alone," because one will likely wind up a sniffly mess, with tears leaking down one's cheeks while random things like "oh dear $hit, I'm going to have one of those" come out of one's mouth.

I got a $50 gift certificate for this photographer for registering with a local cloth diaper store, so I wanted to see her work...and now I just wanna meet the Bugbear Crying

    Well then by all means, do NOT watch the baby tv shows.  They made me SOB some days!  But I remember the day I most lost it was when I mistakenly watched Adoption Stories.  Watching the pregnant teen hold her infant and then cry and hand him over... I imagined doing the same... and, well, completely lost my sh!t.  Ah, the hormones.  Ah, the crazy love and attachment.

    I don't even want to think how many movies and tv shows I sobbed through when pregnant. I highly recommend avoiding Benjamin Button.

    I never considered birth photos until a local girl posted hers. They were beautiful and moving. I can't imagine what kind of mess I would have been if I were PG at the time.
