OK so we are proceeding with IVF. Everything just seemed to fall into place for us and now that we actually pulled the trigger I'm getting really excited. Since I am so new to this does anyone have any good websites that they used for research? Every time I try and Google it just takes me to different clinic websites. Here are the results of my CD 3 blood work. The Dr didn't seem concerned so I hope they are good numbers. He said I have about 12 follies on each side right now and was happy with that.
Prolactin=9;Estradiol=40; LH=7.4; FSH=5.5
Does anyone have feedback? Tips? Good websites?
TIA
Re: IVF CD 3 bloodwork
If you go to www.fertilityplus.org then at the top they have tabs and one is common fertility tests or something like that - they have all the values. I don't know all the #s but your FSH looks good!
Sending you all kinds of bump power this is your cycle
My RE never told me bloodwork numbers. they only told patients those if something was outta whack. I wouldn't get too bogged down worrying about the numbers because you're going to have a lot of bloodtests with an IVF since it's very closely monitored. the main thing to focus on is getting a good number of quality follicles that mature so they can attempt to fertilize them.
best of luck. it's a very draining and invasive process, so try to relax as best you can.
Thanks jcath!!
Thanks MAH! I will be on BC pills, Lupron, Follistim, Menopur and baby aspirin until retrieval and then on Progesterone in oil, baby aspirin, Medrol and Estrace after ET. I need all the luck I can get thanks!!!
Great advise kinsale there is definitely a lot to learn and "stress" about but right now I am more excited than I thought I would be and I hope that continues to relax me through this process.
