Does anyone else feel when they ovulate?

I get a pretty good pain when I ovulate from my left ovary.

Yup I get pretty severe O pain. But I don't rely on that, so I chart and check CM also and use OPK's.

A lot of women on this board say they do feel it, I don't. I'm guessing it can be normal either way!

Actually DH asked me if I could feel when I ovulated. I laughed at him, guess it wasn't as weird of a question as I thought.

But I am wondering how you know its from your left ovary? Is pain supposed to be over the side where you ovulate?

I feel a "flutter." I've had it just about every month since I started my period...about 2 weeks before AF. I can only suppose it's when I ovulate.

I get mild menstrual like cramps. I'm also hormonal and feel worn out. But not as extreme as if AF was about to show.

Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't. I have felt ovulation pains and then not even ovulate. I usually feel pinching anywhere from 1-3days.

I do experience it. It was actually so strong I got put on BCP at a young age to decrease the pain. I just got off BCP a few weeks ago and felt it for the first time in a long time. It doesn't happen to everyone though!

I get crampy and bloated for a couple of days around ovulation, but no, I don't feel exactly when I ovulate.

I never realized what it was until I started using an OPK, but I do. I get a little bit of cramping really low in my abdomen.

I get cramping the day before I actually ovulate according to FF. It's always on my left side as well. I wonder based on the timing if it's the actual ovulation or the swelling of the follicles as they race to mature first.

Yes, you could feel a pain over the ovary that releases the egg. I believe a cyst? raptures and that is what pushes the egg out.

It's odd...I only feel the left side. Maybe one ovary is more sensitive.
