We haven't told our families yet (waiting til 12 weeks) but we've slowly been telling friends (we have to tell some people). I w/b 10 weeks on Thurs.

I couldn't hold my secret any longer from my GF Leah. She has been trying for 9 mos w/o success (mine happened with 2 1/2 weeks) and I wasn't sure how to be sensitive.

GUESS WHAT? She is also pregnant! I am so happy for her! And even better? We are 3 days apart!!!! I feel so lucky to have such a close friend basically be within days of our due dates! Besides hubby and friends, another pregnant person I love dearly to share all of our experiences together (this will be both of our firsts!!!!)

I'M SO HAPPY TODAY!

Oh, that's great! It's SOOOO nice to have friends with little ones the same age. Sometimes you'll clash on parenting decisions, but it's nice to get a different perspective (sometimes), have somebody going through the same things as you at the same time and have a built in playmate! How fun

That is sooo exciting! My sister and my due dates were about a month apart...it was soo awesome to share all that stuff with her plus now our kids will grow up together and be close. LOVE IT! Congrats to you and your friend! How special you get to experience all of the "first" of pregnancy and raising babies! ENJOY IT!
