NBR: Going to renew my license this afternoon

Do you think they'll give me a hard time about it being expired?  Should I tell them that I didn't drive there, just so they don't give me crap?  I know that they can't give me a ticket, because they didn't physically see me driving.  But I just don't want to hear any lip.  I can say someone dropped me off or something.  It's not like they're going to follow me back out into the parking lot.  And even if they do, my license will be renewed at that point!

FWIW, I didn't get one of those little reminder cards, and I know that doesn't matter and they won't believe me, but it's true.  I didn't realize it until last week or so, and it's a month overdue.

It really shouldnt be an issue. I was almost a month late with mine too and they just handled their business no questions asked. I think I may have been worried about it too but it turned out not to be mentioned at all. GL....the lines are always ridic!

That's good to hear.  I'm hoping it won't be so bad this time of day.  And I remembered that they don't take cards and brought my checkbook!

Don't even worry about it. Mine was expired for three months before a security guard at the airport caught it. I never got a reminder card either. I just went in and they printed out a new one. I think I had to do the sign test, but that was all.
