I was pretty sure you couldn't feel LO moving around at only 11 weeks. I mean s/he is only 1.5inches long, and your uterus is the size of a grapefruit, and still within your pelvis. Or does this all go out the window with kid #2?
a "friend" on FB posted as her status that she could feel her little one moving around, and she is 11 weeks pregnant, and claims her doctor said that it is possible to feel movement/flutters this early because its not her first....
am i justified in calling her out?
Re: feeling movement at 11 weeks???
Everything is different with your second.
If you call her out she'll use the "my doctor said" thing anyway.

I think it's just phantom... probably gas.
I could have SWORN that I've already felt the baby. Now, how freaking ridiculous is that? It's gas, she just thinks it's the baby.
I felt both of mine by 11 weeks.
Super super subtle, and only when I laid perfectly still, barely breathing -- but yes, I felt them. I would poke at my uterus and get teeny little movements in response. Not gas, not even enough motion to be called flutters. It felt like there was a tiny cluster of bees inside me with their wings vibrating.
Yup, totally possible.

Really? Thats incredible. My uterus wasn't above my pelvic bone yet and midwives couldn't even get her heartbeat yet. I knew she was a girl already though. I guess everyone is in tune differently.
