  • Well, I'm supposed to be a teacher... I taught for six years (5 years in 4th grade and 1 year in 2nd grade) then I got laid off at the end of the 2008/2009 school year Sad  So now I've been unemployed for a year and while I am looking for a teaching position for the upcoming school year, it's not looking too good. Hopefully I find something!

  • I'm an occupational therapist working in the school system...so I technically have the same schedule as teachers. Yay summer! I am working summer school starting Tuesday, though, for 5 weeks. It's only 4 hour days, though, which is nice b/c it gets me out of bed, but then I still have all afternoon to pool/nap/shop/bump or whatever other summer fun I want to get into.

I'm a temp and am placed in a big Japanese company that makes parts for semiconductor production. I work as an import/export associate.

Back in Germany I completed a 3 year-vocational training as a hotel specialist and worked at a big hotel downtown here for the first year, but I am so very tired of working holidays and 3 different shifts without a pattern and the bad pay....so I switched over to temping and scored this long term position (at least until next March!) that comes with a great schedule and great pay Smile
