Those with angelcare monitors... please help

Target sells one that has 2 parent monitors per unit... or BRU sells one that has 1 parent monitor per unit...

which did you buy... or which did you wish you had bought...

I know that if we did the single monitors we'd either need to keep them together for the sake of the movement alarms...

Just curious what worked for you ladies

Re: Those with angelcare monitors... please help

  • We have two of the monitors that each have 2 parent monitors.  We keep two upstairs and two downstairs.

    You will love these monitors!

  • We have two monitors that each have one parent console, we keep one pc downstairs and one pc in our bedroom.  And I agree, I LOVE these monitors.
  • you only need one parent unit with you - since it will hear the other one beeping (or any  noise in the room) there's no reason to have 2 parent units on to listen to the babies.

You do need 2 pads though - so I'd just buy the pads with one parent unit... then you'll have 2 parent units.

We have 3 angelcares in use - my 3 y/o and the twins all have one. (yes, my 3y/o still uses it - we love it b/c we will know if he gets out of bed- which he does not do b/c he knows it will beep and he hates that -so he knows to call for us if he wants to get out).

we have 2 of the older style ones - one is set on A and one on B.  And we have one of the newer ones - we like that a lot b/c you can leave the parent unit on all the time - it doesn't make static noise if it's on and the baby unit is off (the older models do this... it's annoying b/c i always forget to turn off the parent unit... or forget to turn it on - the new ones we just leave on all the time).

  • We have two monitors, both with one parent unit.  We keep one parent unit in our room and the other is available for anywhere else in the house (stays in the living room usually).

I wish I'd known about the newer models without the static noise when the monitors are off.  That IS annoying.

Wow - that's great!  I thought we were going to need to have 2 parent units with us at all times... so glad I asked!!
