We're moving up there in 2 weeks, and I'm looking for some good doctor recommendations in the area. Specifically I am looking for a good developmental pediatritian and/or geneticist. (I think I'd rather a dev. pedi though....I haven't gotten much out of our geneticist appts here). And if anyone knows a good cardiologist too (I think Ty will probably be followed yearly or so). Thanks!
Our dev'tal ped. is through LADDERS (part of Children's Hospital), but their focused on Autism Spectrum Disorders, so I'm not sure that's what you're looking for. I'd honestly start with Children's (www.childrenshospital.org) and work your way out from there. I know Mass General also has a reputable pediatric cardiology department as well. Good luck with your search- You'll be in great hands up here.

Glendi - I checked out the childrenshospital.org website (it never occured to me to look there!), and they have an entire Down Syndrome clinic/program there! Every specialist that I could want for my son is there, including community events....SO EXCITED! Thanks!!! :-)
so glad you found some decent resources! I'm sure once you're up here you'll find even more... one of the many great things about Boston living... top notch health care and related support services.
