Re: how would you transport 2 LOs to the beach? (clicky)

  • I voted to use City Mini b/c we used ours last year before we had our jogger.  Once you get it down there it will be easy to push in the hard sand/close to the water.

And you will probably want it if you are doing nap time down there.  We would push my boys until they fell asleep and then position them under the umbrella and they were under their stroller shades.  It made for a very peaceful naptime and a nice break for us down there.

    Thanks!

This was my thing- if they're getting tired & we want them to fall asleep in it& potentially take htem home, we need the stroller. Although I did buy a canopy in case someone hates the sand nad to block sun but the thought of dragging it through the sand is really not appealing...although we could carry the kids & bring hte stroller, it wouldnt be as hard to get through w/ out them in there on the way there...

  • go with the city mini - my IL's live a half a block from the beach and we always take my neice and nephews down in a wagon - you can fit two and toys.  We just bought a double bike trailer for next summer and are planning on using that for the beach as well.

  • i'd stay in car or whereever you already with them...get all the things you need down to the beach and then have that adult carry one and you carry the other.

We always took a pnp with ds for napping...it has a nice shade canopy and much more comfy than stroller. also kept ds contained better than stroller.

I wouldn't want to deal with a stroller in the sand : /
