I'm sorry; I know people ask for feeding schedules all of the time, but I really need some advice!
DD has started eating a lot more solids and finger foods. I'm pretty much giving her 3 big (IMO) meals a day. I don't know what to do with her bottles.
She used to drink (5) 6 oz bottles but now she is not finishing them at all. Today I tried (4) 7 oz bottles but I think she only ended up drinking about 19 oz total.
Has your pedi given you advice on this or this completely individual to the baby?
TIA

Re: Help--- more solids/less bottles?
it's normal, usually around this time a lot of babies go down to 3 bottles a day
DS is now on 3 8oz bottles a day.. one at 7 when he wakes up, one at 1pm before his nap and one at 7pm before he goes to bed
(he also has 3 meals of solids a day plus snacks)

We're starting this too. DS only had 3 6-8oz bottles today but ate a ton of baby food. I remember hearing that an ounce of formula and BM usually has around 20 cal so it's ok to cut back once they start to eat that much in food.
Can I ask if anyone is concerned about not getting enough nutrients? I try to balance everything out, but hardly any baby food contains calcium and obviously we can't give milk yet. I'm hoping that he's getting enough in the formula that he gets.

Yes, I am worried about this! I feel like she eats so many "snack" type foods. I am trying to give her yogurt and she LOVES cheese. We even tried string cheese today. I also gave her a mixture of frozen carrots, peas, corn, and green beans at dinner and she loved it.
