DH and I were just talking about the 2009 winner, thus causing me to google the list and look at all the past recipients. There are some really good names on there! Some of my favorites are Camilo, Elias and Odysseus.
Funny seeing you here :-) I just came across this board, clicked on the first post of interest and turns out it is one of your posts. A good one at that. Beckett was DH's number one boys name. I love Saul but the alliteration would be too severe with our last name. I also love Ernest but would never risk "Ernie" as a nick name.
BTW what the heck am I doing mulling over potential names for a lo I am in no way ready to conceive? sigh...
Re: Nobel Prizes in Literature names
Sir Vidiadhar Surajprasad Naipaul
NOW THAT'S A NAME! His parents weren't messing around. But the Sir is a little bit much, don't you think? hahahahaha
You're so awesome for posting this - thanks!!

Ha, ha. I'm in the same boat! It's so much easier to think of what to name future DC #2 than to think of starting all over again.
