Emily is almost 3 months old, and the only place she sleeps (other than on us) is in her car seat. You know what the books say...."Anything you need to do to get LO to sleep..."... We did what we had to do for a while.
Now that she's a LITTLE 'older' we're hoping to transition her to her crib. She NEVER liked sleeping in her travel crib (on her back, anywhere, really), but I'm hoping that can be changed.
Anyone transition LO successfully? At what age? How long did it take? Suggestions to make it less painful for everyone involved?
TIA
Re: Transitioning to crib from.....
Thanks. I did put a blanket under the mattress to raise it a bit. She slept in the crib for about a half hour the other day, but I put her in there already asleep. Other attempts have failed.
The positioners make me nervous....She hasn't learned to flip over yet, but she does move her head around an awful lot and LOVES to face to either side: I'm afraid she'll put her face against a positioner. We won't put anything inside the crib with her at this point, unless it's under the mattress.
