Online "window shopping" anyone?

I've been all over the internet looking at bedding and diaper bags that look like purses and not book bags and gliding chairs.  Anybody else browsing yet?  When do you think you'll start buying and what's first on your list?

    Funny you should bring that up! My DH and I went to babies r us today "just to look". I think we'll start with things like furniture. Stuff we probably won't get at a baby shower, stuff that can be gender neutral. My best friend is bugging me to death to start my registry, but I'm hesitant. I already bought a couple of bibs, pacifiers and a bottle, all for telling our families we're expecting. I think "window shopping" is fine. How can we resist anyway? This is way too exciting not to shop.

    I've been looking for awhile.  lol  I think a few of us girls are going to take a trip to Ikea to look at furniture.  I have lots of things saved on Etsy and tons of websites added to my favorites list.  Sad, isn't it?

    The only thing we've really been buying is cloth diapers.

    Check out the book Baby Bargains while you are "window shopping". It has reviews on all baby products (strollers, bottles, pacifiers, etc.)!! :)

    All of that sounds familiar! :)  I have websites saved as favorites and DH and I went to buy buy baby the other day just to look. It was so fun!  I'm a little overwhelmed at how much stuff we need.  It's crazy!  I'm just really excited to make the nursery cute!  I love decorating! :)

    I'm guilty of browsing too but i refuse to buy anything until further into my pregnancy just in case. Plus, i want to get as much as possible at my shower!

     The only thing i actually bought that i just could not pass up is the stroller with car seat and two bases. i got a peg perego system for 150 bucks from a neighbor who was getting rid of hers. This will save hundreds of dollars in the future!

    The first thing on my list is furniture because that is a big ticket item that i would not dare register for!

    Oh yes.  My mother purchased me a travel system from Target that was on clearance for only $80 before we m/c'd the last time.  I loved it, because it was gender neutral and had owls on it.  Now it's online at Target for $120!  Craziness.

    Yup, I have the window, Babies R Us, and online bug as well. I am trying hard to resist purchasing though.

    I have furniture saved online. We won't buy anything until the first ultrasound (9 weeks), and it will just be something small because we're so excited. We won't get furniture or anything until the middle of the second tri... November-ish. Seems so far away!

    We also don't want to buy anything big until after our showers (which will all be in 2011). We want to see what all we get first.

    I looked a little bit yesterday, but I feel apprehensive about buying anything or making any decisions until after my first prenatal appointment, which won't be for a while. 

    I'm on book overload right now, reading every version of what is happening and how the baby is growing and what I should or shouldn't be doing.
