Sand and paint furniture??

in Orange County Babies

Anybody know where I can go or who I can get to re-do a couple of pieces of furniture I have? I am doing another nursery and a I have some nice pieces that I would like to have painted. I feel like it's a waste to go buy exact new ones when I already have them but just want a different color.

    If you or your H is handy (or anyone in your family), it's not that difficult to do yourselves. We did Bella's crib & dresser among other pieces in the house.

    This dresser was oak and we sanded, repainted, and added crystal knobs. You would have never guessed that we had no idea what we were doing and only spent $50.00 on materials. I researched having a professional do it and it was going to cost about $300.00. It took some time, but the finished piece turned out beautiful and I am proud to tell my daughter that her parents refinished her great grandmothers dresser. :)
