doesn't target sell some that are fairly decent? How long is the wine good once the box is opened? My H does not drink wine, so I rarely buy it. And, if I do buy a bottle, I feel like it goes bad before I can drink it all. I think I remember a conversation about boxed wine a while ago. Any recommendations? Thanks!
Re: can we talk about box wines?
We can't buy wine anywhere but a designated liquor store in my state (SUPER annoying) but when I've been out of state I've bought wine cubes from Target. I like it. I'm no wine snob, for sure, but I bought the Pinot Grigio and it was definitely decent.
I can't remember how many bottle it is equivalent to...1.5 maybe? Anyway, it is good for quite a while in the fridge after it is opened--like, weeks.
I'm jealous of anyone who can buy those.
I like the box wines for when I want a glass here & there. They are usually equal to 4 bottles & say they stay fresh for 4 weeks, but I've definitely had them for longer (in the fridge) and they were fine.
For red, I am liking Black Box (Cab I think). It's pretty popular now & I see it in most liquor stores
For white, Black Box also (pinot grigio is good), and Fish Eye.
They're also convenient for cooking when a recipe calls for a small amount of wine.

LOVE the Target Wine Cubes. They have two sizes, and they are good for four weeks. (I drink red, so I don't keep it in the fridge.)
Love them.
You take my ovaries, I take your yarns.
oooh glad to know our target sells them. I'm not sure why this idea just occurred to me. I'm a red girl, too. Thanks everyone!
Me with my littlest.
