Exersaucer Question

We don't have an exersaucer yet, but I'm thinking of getting one so I can take a shower with DD in the bathroom.  Up until now, she has sat in her bouncer, but since she can sit up now, she doesn't want to recline at all, so she fusses when she's in it.

Are exersaucers heavy?  Is it easy to pick up and carry it around?  I don't want to be lugging around a 30 pound exersaucer around my house.

Re: Exersaucer Question

  • I slid mine across the floor to whatever room I am in! It's easy!

  • I think they are so worth it.  Heavy or not.  Mines not too heavy, its an Evenflo brand.  Thanks to the excersaucer, I can get dinner started and do a few chores while DD plays. She really likes it.
  • They aren't heavy.  I move mine all the time depending on what room I want DS in.  He loves it, but right now only wants to be in it for about 10 minutes at a time.  I think as he gets older & able to grab the stuff a little better, he will spend a lot of time in it.
  • Not nearly as heavy as the swing :)  I usually just take her gym in for while I shower, but maybe I should try the saucer.
  • I WISH ours was light enough for me to move around, sheesh!  We just got her a Graco Jumpster and she's in love with it, so I move that from room to room.  Her exersaucer lives in the living room, her swing lives in our office.  :)
