  yep. Maybe go with Shane so there is a little variance when said out loud.

  Sorry but I think they might be a lil to matchy.... I am just not a fan of the alliteration in siblings names... it is too confusing. No one ever got called the right name at my house growing up.... All K names! My husbands family is the same, all M names!

  Yes...you can make one name from the other. If you're in love with the name, Zane would it work if you put Zane as the middle name?

  I'll be the minority and say no. I like them and think though they start with the same letter they don't sound alike. Zane & Zander are adorable to me.

  My sons middle name is Zane so I'm biased.

  If it's a girl not going to be Zoe. I'm kinda set on the middle name, it's my brother's name. Who knows we still have plenty of time right? LOL.

  I think so.  The middle names don't bother me, but Zander and Zane? Too close.

  ETA: I've always thought that if you have to ask, you probably already know the answer...

  NO. I love both names, I would name my twins Zander and Zane if my hubby wasn't opposed to it. But if you do think they are to matchy I think that the name Ashton and Gage go good with it.
