pumpkin patches?

are there any really good ones around?  i want to take DJ to one but most are a very lame attempt of a patch.  Sad

    Not sure where you are but there is one by Golden West College and I just saw yesterday that they have one in the parking lot at the Westminster Mall.  It's right off the 405 by Sears

    We went to Tanaka Farms in Irvine.  Great patch you can pick pumpkins from and lots of other stuff to do there too.

    Tanaka farms was a lot of fun and we plan to go to Irvine Regional as well. ?We're just waiting for cooler weather so I can take DDs fall pics. ?I planned to when we went to Tanaka, but I don't think dressing her in long sleeves when it was over 90 degrees was going to happen, lol.

    Cal Poly Pomona is having theirs this weekend.  It is HUGE.  Like 10 acres.  Pumpkins are only $4 too.  I liked it because you can get pics with the kids and pumpkins and not have anyone else in the pics since it is so big.  We also hit Irvine regional for the train.

    I went to Tanaka 2 weeks ago and Irvine Regional this past weekend. Irvine Regional was really cute....train, hay ride, zoo, face painting, bouncer. You have to pay for all those though. We just went to the pumpkin patch and on the train. Tanaka has a petting zoo too for a small fee. Can't go wrong with either.

    We went to the one on Jeffrey and the 5 fwy today--it was just ok.

    There is one off Jeffery and between the 405 and 5. It is kind of in the IVC parking lot. It is a chain with the one off Golden West and 405.....Lots of places for pics. Different from the one talked about above...the one above is very overpriced...
