DD starts daycare on Monday and I want to give them some formula as a backup just in case I don't send enough BM one day. Pedi recomends Similac Advanced - any coupons out there?
I do have two cans of Enfamil Premium powder that the hospital gave me and we haven't used since DD is EBF - would you go with what the Pedi recommends or just use this as backup? I know babies usually have to try out formula to find one that works for them so I'm tempted to just send the free stuff. Thoughts?
Re: Formula questions
We used Similac Advanced with Easy Shield and loved it. And doing the CDs, never had any nasty formula poop to contend with. We didn't BF very long, but I didn't notice a huge change from BF to FF with her. So I'm a big fan of that brand.
But, unless you have a huge concern that they're going to run out of BM, I'd send the free stuff.

Both my older girls had Enfamil... Nothing wrong with it. We got Similac freebies at the hospital this time, so we've stuck with that. *shrug*
Definitely send the free stuff first.
I actually switch back and forth between Similac Advanced and Enfamil, depending on my coupon stash.
We're using Enfamil. I never thought about swapping back and forth, but I might since it seems to work.
And if you decide to go with the Similac and want to pass on the free Enfamil, I know a hungry boy who will take it. See below. :-)
I have 2 $5 Similac checks that expire 7/1 I'll drop in the mail today to someone who will use them. I won't be buying formula before that since I have several cans of Enfamil.
