When does your hair stop falling out?

Since right around 11 weeks post partum my hair has been falling out like crazy - so we're going on around 5 weeks or so of massive shedding.  When does this let up? I know it is totally normal, but it's not easing up at all. Just curious as to how long I should expect for this to last.

    Its starting to drive me crazy! I find it in everything! It ends up in my sons hands all over the floor I feel like I should wear a net while cooking dinner!

    I don't know - I have the same issue.  I don't look like my hair is thinning and actually it has grown in length.  But - everyday I get massive amounts of hair in the comb during my morning routine.

    It's still going strong here. I am getting sick of cleaning out the shower drain, my comb, and wiping up the bathroom floor every single day!!

    I thought I had escaped it, but mine is falling out like crazy the last month or so, I can't wait for it to be done!

    Glad to know I'm not alone in this long exodus of hair!  Someone mentioned to me that it might go on as long as I'm breastfeeding- anyone else heard that?

    Of my close friends who have babies/BF, not really had the hair loss issue.

    My hair just started falling out last week.  It's kind of scary because I'm finding my hair all over the house.  My friend has a baby that's 7 months and she said it just started slowing down.

    Mine just slowed down in the last week or so.  It was crazy how much hair was coming out before.  I'm still losing some hair, but no where near as much as before!  Hang in there the end is in sight!

    My hair loss has finally started to slow down and now I'm getting all these weird short fuzzies from it all growing back-not so much loving that! But I swear my pony tail is 1/2 as thick as it used to be!

    MY son is 5 1/5 months and fine is still falling out by the handful! Thank goodness I had thick hair to being with... I'd be bald if I didn't!

    I've never heard that and I'm really hoping that's an OWT, because otherwise I'll cry.  Mine just comes out in clumps all day long. I can't believe how much I've lost.  I could make my bald baby a full wig with as much as I've lost.
