Ok girls, 9 months or 10 months..

So my gf and I are having the common debate of wheter or not you are pregnant 9 or 10 months. What did you go by? What did your doctor tell you? Is there a "correct" calculation to this? This is why I told her I go by weeks, not months cause it gets to be a battle of the minds!!

I went 9 months. There are more than four weeks (28 days) in every month except February so 10 months does not make sense to me.

You are pregnant something like 9.5 calendar months. You are pregnant 10 lunar months (which are exactly 4 weeks each). Each month is NOT 28 days long, so you aren't pregnant 10 calendar months. You are both technically correct. It just depends on how you count.
