So I'm driving by myself with 2 pups from Louisiana to New Jersey in a few days. I'm taking 2 days to do it (LA to GA then GA to NJ) it's about 12 hours both days and I already know I'm going to have to stop to get gas & let the dogs out. Do you think I'm going to have to pee more than the dogs?! I'm already almost annoyed by the thought of this because that's going to make the trip so much longer having to keep getting off the highways and then pee. I know I'm still going to have to pee even if I do this, but would it be horrible to drink as little water as possible for those 2 days so maybe I won't have to pee as badly or frequently? It's just annoying because I'll have to go so so badly, then I'll only end up squeezing out like a drop or 2 when I was expecting Niagra Falls. Any advice? TIA.
Re: travel advice
I haven't driven that much, but I had a 5 hour plane ride this past weekend and my doctor told me to get up and walk at least once per hour. Pregnant women have an increased risk for blood clots and sitting for that long can be dangerous, so make sure you get out and stretch your legs! Good luck!
i drive a lot for my job and it sucks. my back hurts, i have to get out a LOT just to stretch and lie in the grass and pee of course. i'm always snacking, it's just horrible, whether it's 45 minutes or 8 hours.
drink as much as possible.. you need to stay hydrated.
