Recommend your cheaper version of Belly Bandit?

Has anyone had success using something cheaper than the Belly Bandit but meant for the same thing? I see posts frequently on third tri with pics after using the Belly Bandit. It seems like most people talk about using two sizes. I really don't want to have to buy two of these at the price they are! Anyone have any other suggestions? Thanks ladies!

  • Try a medical supply store or online store. They have some cheaper choices that does the same thing.

  • Ask for an abodominal binder when you are at the hospital.

Even though I had a vaginal birth, I' used a regular ab binder from day 1. When it got too big, I purchased another one from the pharmacy.

I use the binder to prevent ab separation, and for comfort when standing/ sitting. Both my PT & OB recommended using one.

By day 10 post pregnancy, I look,ed like myself again.  My belly is  flat, and not jiggly. However, I think this is mostly due to good genes and working out religiously during pregnancy rather than binding.

This.  I just asked my OB to "prescribe" one after my c-section and the nurses got it for me- free :)  I haven't used it much (and my tummy has still gotten pretty flat pretty quickly) but I liked having it as an option.

  • Bella band but for more support there are a couple I found on Babies' R' Us I really liked the one that lets you adjust both sides and is thinner looking mesh material.
