cranky baby in evenings!!

Is anyone else's baby cranky in the evenings? I swear they have relatively good days and then as soon as DH gets home (around 6pm or so) they are crying nonstop until bedtime.  I know this is a colliky time in general but is anyone dealing with this and if so, have any tips to offer? I feel so bad for DH b/c all the time he spends with them are trying to calm/pacifiy them:(

    Sounds like my little man! I feel the same way for my DH...he is so wonderful with our little guy, but most of his evening is spent calming him down! I'm sure it will get better in a few weeks once our little ones are out of the "newborn" stage.

    LOL - Sounds like our evenings, only with 1 baby =)

    DH gets home around 6:30 and from then until about 8:00 all DS does is scream. some nights are better/worse than others. DH spends a lot of his time trying to console him.

    DS LOVES to be outside though and that helps a lot, whether I'm pushing him his stroller or DH has him in the Bjorn.

    Alex still has cranky nights.  She tends to fight sleep at night.  She will fall asleep then wake herself and start crying.  It usually goes on for about an hour until she finally just gives into the sleep.
