Lower back pain - is it normal?

in 1st Trimester
My lower back is really crampy and achy.  Have any of you experienced this?  It's been bugging me all morning.  This is how my back feels when I'm about to get my period.

    Yep. I am getting that right now and I had it the whole pregnancy with DD. It sucks!!!

    yes, actually that is why I tested for this pregnancy.  I had terrible back pain on and off with dd....and even had back labor with her...(my poor back), and now its back again.

    WOW I was thinking the same exactly thing.  The past few days it has been horrible.  Can't stand up for a long time or else it is almost unbearable.  But it does get me out of doing the dishes and cooking dinner  Wink

    I had horrible back labor too. That to me was the worst part of the labor! I was hoping to skip that part this time but it doesn't look like it
