Moby vs. Ergo - ?'s of course

I have the Moby and barely used it with DS because of 1) The Florida heat made it unbearable and 2) It was complicated for me to tie it alone - due to #1, I couldn't just wear it around and put DS in it when we arrived at our destination!

I see all of the posts about the Ergo sale and have always read good things about them on here. Can I use the Ergo in lieu of the Moby or will I be using both? Is it as hot as the Moby? I do like the weight limits on the Ergo and don't know what to do!!

I love them both, granted I didn't have my Ergo til DS was 6 months old. The Moby worked well when he was little b/c he was a fall baby so the weather was cool, and its just so nice and snuggly. I probably would have used the infant insert if I had it. So in answer to your question, you could get away with just the Ergo. And if you weren't a fan of the Moby the first go around you might just want to try to go the Ergo route with #2.
