My friend has the chubbiest baby in the world!

She is EBF and he weighed in at a whopping 21 lbs at 4 months. He is freaking adorable but I have to wonder if her BM is comparable to buttermilk.

    one of my cousins has a 27 lb. 4 monther....eek. also ebf....and they say formula makes babies fat lol!

    FWIW - Buttermilk is a skim milk product.

    One of my friends had an EBF baby who was a major chub and didn't start crawling (or doing much of anything besides sitting in one place) until he was almost a year old.  As soon as he started moving he started to thin out, when he started walking the weight just disappeared, he is a little stick kid who never stops moving now!

    @ the buttermilk - I did not know that. I always thought it was super fattening.

    This baby is very active. Well as active as a normal 4 month old. He is really long too. He weighed in at over 10lbs at birth.

    thats a very big baby! that's almost as much as my 2 year old who weighs 26 lbs.

    My son was 21 lbs at 4 months and 25 lbs at 6 months~ he was a chunker! But now at 2.5 years he is only 31 lbs....they taper off and lose the weight when they start crawling/walking:)
