It seems like DS responds when we say his name but I think that it's just him responding to our voices

I think he's just responding to our voices. We call him "Carter" and he looks over. Then we call him "Sally" and he still looks over.

Doesn't yet. He'll look at us if we say Miles but he's more than likely just responding to our voice.

He started at about 4.5 months, it's really a 5 month milestone. I would think if they're doing it really early they're just responding to the sound of your voice. Even now, if I say like "Bichael" or "cycle" or anything that sounds like Michael he'll look.

I think I've read 5-6 months.

DD really isn't yet. She responds to our voice and has for a while. I could call her anything and she'd respond.

My DD just started doing this and she is 5.5 months. I think it's a typical 5 month milestore. Previously she would turn towards our voices, but I just now recognize her as specifically turning towards her name.
