I'm still EBF and am curious how often Lily actually still needs breastmilk. She eats solids for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and gets breastmilk in the morning, mid-morning, lunch, mid-afternoon, and bedtime. Which feedings, if any, can I go ahead and drop? What is your baby's feeding schedule at 10 to 12 months?
Re: What is baby's feeding schedule at 10+months
DS gets 4 bottles a day and three meals. He's not on a schedule, but it typically goes like this:
6:30 - bottle
8:30 - breakfast
11:00 - bottle
1:00 - lunch
3:00 - bottle
5:30 - dinner
7:00 - bottle
I'm not sure when I will drop a bottle, so I'm just as confused as you.
6:30 AM Bottle
8:30 AM Breakfast
11 AM Bottle
12 PM Lunch
3 PM Bottle
6PM Dinner
7 PM Bottle
The sitter swears DD can drop the 3pm bottle. She says she sometimes doesnt finish it and maybe just drinks it cause she's thirsty...might be true, but I am afraid of her not getting enough during the day and then waking at night again...if she hasnt dropped it by her 1 year appt...I will ask pedi.
I still EBF as well, and our schedule is the same as yours. I feel like maybe DD could drop the mid-morning feeding, but I'm not sure how to do that.
DD is still adjusting to daycare (starts her 2nd week tomorrow) so her schedule is a little different right now. Usually it goes something like this:
7:00am-Bottle
8:30am-breakfast
11:00am-bottle
12:00pm-lunch
3:00-4pm-bottle
6-7pm- dinner
7:30pm-bath then bottle
8:30pm-bed
After 3 is tricky because dinner depends on when I get home from work but DH always gets her at 5:30pm.
