3rd Trimester

Sigh. I know there are those more frustrated than I

But, seriously, this pregnancy seems never ending.

  • Uh oh - at 30 weeks...you're in trouble...

But, yes - I found out at barely 4 weeks that I was pregnant - so, it's been a LONG pregnancy!

  • It can seem long at times, but looking back it's flown by.  Now the days are dragging.  Enjoy every day before you get too uncomfortable - you've got a ways to go still!

Haha...I feel you on this.  I found out at 2 weeks along.  This ride just seems neverending.  And once it started becoming really uncomfortable it just got worse!

OP - just take it a week at a time.  If you do, you'll be amazed how quickly 30 weeks becomes 35 weeks and so on...

  • Ive been on modified rest for a while now and I get to sit here and stare at my comp and my TV and or read... yay.... nothing but time to think :/ so I feel your pain

  • I think weeks 32-36 are the hardest because the finish line is just around the corner but always so far away.
  • Tell me about it. I'm 34 weeks and I think the next 6 weeks may be the longest of my life.

Didn't you know she felt the sperm meet the egg?  Gosh - way to judge her hippo!

LMAO - I almost asked her how it felt when the sperm met the egg, because I was always curious!
  • Today is my due date... The waiting is KILLING me!
  • i thought i was impatient with my first pregnancy,  but WOW...now that i'm full term...i'm so ready to have another outside baby already.
  • I found that weeks 30-37 went by the fastest for me.  There were just so many things to do - showers, prepping the nursery, buying last minute things.  Waiting for labor is the worst - although to be honest, I think weeks 6-13 and 13-20 were the longest ones in the pregnancy.

  • Oh, I feel ya!!! I'm sooooooooo over this!
  • So glad I'm not the only one!  I'm almost 34 weeks and can't manage to get comfortable for more than an hour at a time!  I'm sure the 100+ heat isn't helping me any, but I'm so ready to meet this little girl!  No idea how I'll make it through the next 6 weeks.

Before the comments get catty - I found out because of a special situation.  I was blood tested and found out early on.  Not normal by far.  I was not doing anything special in terms of IVF or anything like that.  For personal reasons I found out early.  Not the norm but my hormones spiked and they tested me.

Zoobaby - at 2 weeks pregnant you are ovulating - fertilization has not occurred.  You didn't find out at 2 weeks.  Get your facts straight.

  • LCB.  I travel for my job.  I know the EXACT day I got pregnant.  I was tested very shortly thereafter.  From my LMP I was 2 weeks and a few days pregnant.  I understand that you are not privy to my medical records so it may be confusing, but don't assume you know everything.

As I said, very specific situation and case.

Didn't you hear? LCB knows everything, about everything.

    Just ignore her. :)

  • I think the girls are just teasing you, like the above poster mentionned, no one finds out at 2 weeks pregnant because the number of weeks pregnant is counted from the first day of your last period (2 weeks being around when you ovulated). You probably found out at 4 weeks then.
Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy, enjoy it, it will be done before you know it!

Yes  It's true.  She doesn't care if you have special circumstances - she's all knowing - about everything.
