Protection from the sun?

We have no trees or shade in our backyard. Would love to find something easy to set up (easier enough for one person) to act as shade over DD's pool during the afternoon. Like a pop-up canopy or something but tall enough. We only stay out there for a short period to begin with but the sun BEATS down and I would prefer to have her in the shade since she has such fair skin. Any suggestions?

    I bought a canopy - i acutally found it at the local grocery store.  But check out sporting good stores.  They are used alot around here for tailgating at baseball games, so I have seen them a ton there.  Or look for them in the camping area's of Target and Walmart.  Then you could set it up and put the pool right under it.  The one I bought also has a screen around it, so it will keep bugs out.

    Look at beach umbrellas.  You can find them rated by SPF protection.  Also, we have the Baby Banz long rash guard suit and hat for DD and love it.

    I get their catalog and there are always canopies and things for beach trips and whatnot....did you already buy her pool? They have pools in the catalog and at target that have canopies over them. I just put DD's pool on the patio under our patio table umbrella.
